On the new My Ad Campaigns page, click on the
[Create a new Ad Group for campaign: My First Campaign] link
and you'll see the form:
Setup the text of you ad and your daily budget figures. When you set
the text (headline and content) of your Ad, remember:
- The headline needs to grab the readers attention.
- The body of the Ad (line 1 and line2) need to convince the
reader to visit your website.
- Put yourself in the position of a person viewing your ad
who may never have heard of you or your site/product.
Will the Ad make sense to them?
- Experiment! You can easily change the Ad once it is live -
it does not cost extra money to change an Ad.
Once you have saved the changes to your Ad, make sure you click on
the prototype ad to test the target location. If the link to your website is bad then
the Ad won't do you much good!
A Maximum CPM of $0.25 may be ok if you just want to publish on
member pages. If you want to go on non-member pages also, you'll
need a Maximum CPM of at least $0.50. The next section of this documentation
page will show you how to list target locations and see their cost (in CPM).
Even if you set a Maximum CPM of $1.00, it will still only cost you $0.25 per
thousand-impressions when the Ad appears on pages rated at that level.
However, when your Ad appears on a $0.50 CPM rated page,
it will cost $0.50 for one thousand
impressions on that page. The calculation is done on an individual impression basis.
We publish your Ad on the first page available (within your target page range)
when your Ad comes up for publishing. Your Ad is scheduled to give you an even
impression distribution throughout the 24 hr day.
Remember that your Ad won't publish until after you setup your Ad Campaign budget.
If you are ready to publish your Ad to Cenimar users, then you can go back to the
My Ads Campaign page, click on the campaign name link,
then setup your initial budget. Once you set a budget (on a new campaign),
your Ad will be live within an hour.
