The US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) compiles and publishes a great set of world information and they call it the World Factbook.

CENIMAR has taken this information from the CIA and made it even better. Instead of providing just a snapshot of the current state of world affairs, CENIMAR has compiled a database that spans many years. This allows us to show you trends in information over time. We've also added additional data from reliable sources like the UN and the US Energy Information Administration to make our database more complete.

It's often more important to see where things are heading that where they have been. So, in addition to providing the trend data in an interactive graphical format, we allow you to project future values and even show the consensus from our Prediction Market as our best estimate as to where things are heading.

Unique features like the ability to display most data sets as per capita numbers makes it easier to judge the impact of a measurement on an individual person.

Start off by looking at a World Overview, and then move on to individual countries for more details.
